Adobe Media Player Demo

Project Overview:Evaluate the viability of using a new product just out of beta, Adobe Media Player (ADP), for publishing to an online network.

Designed and developed a proof of concept (PoC) solution that simultaneously published streaming video of TNT TV and movies on a website (similar to www.tntdrama.com) and on Adobe Media Player, a cross-platform Adobe AIR application that offers content discovery and interaction.

Designed and coded an intranet website for backend scheduling of the commercial content.

Technology: a DBMS and associated object oriented access libraries, a schedule processing windows service, and a SOAP XML compliant web service interface to the DVR network.

Enhanced Channel Data Specification

Project Overview:A proof of concept project with a server application, using the ASP.NET 2.0 platform, to support enhanced channel data delivered to a DVR network.

Designed and developed a web application to manage the content schedule and a web service to deliver the enhanced content, enabling the ability to insert special content into the commercial breaks.

Developed the schedule management interface with Infragistics AJAX controls and the backend database on SQL Server 2005 with extensive use of T-SQL stored procedures and functions.

KT-Tech Demo

Project Overview:Evaluate KT-Tech's core compression library for use on Pocket PC's.

Developed custom Pocket PC software, adding features to allow the user to control the audio/video quality, video motion control, and audio/video bit rates.

Technology: Embedded C++ V3.0 using MS Embedded Visual Tools V3.0, Windows Platform SDK for Pocket PC, and DirectX 9.0 SDK
