The Platform R&D Division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. contracted Boland Consulting to write the backend server web application for delivering enhanced commercial data to a DVR network.

In a earlier project, the Platform R&D Division asked Boland Consulting to write test software to help evaluate the suitability of Audio and Visual compression libraries from KT-Tech, Inc. for mobile video via a smart phone or Pocket PC. [view project details]

Sperduto & Associates is an Atlanta based firm of corporate psychologists and management consultants. Boland Consulting developed an application that automates their survey and analysis process (generating hundreds of report pages) and enables them to complete the process in hours instead of weeks.

The application is a client-server program which analyzes the results from attitude surveys and produces custom color reports and graphs for presentation to their clients. Includes a database driven web front-end for taking the surveys. Developed in Visual Basic 6.0 and ASP.Net using MS access.

Boland Consulting provided the programming expertise for a two-way data communications application that allowed a responder in the field to select and view data content provided through a digital TV broadcast stream.

California Star Properties, Inc. is a large real estate firm in Northern California. Boland Consulting rewrote their existing ASP based Website backend in ASP.NET.

Cardinal Health, a leading provider of products, services and technologies supporting the health care industry, contracted Boland Consulting to be the the primary System Architect and Developer for a client-server application that analyzes the results of a Myocardial Perfusion study and generates the physicians findings report. The system was written in VB 6 and had a MSDE (SQL Server 2000) database backend.

Boland Consulting also provided a WISE installer for the application and MSDE database as well as technical documentation and user manuals.

Services: A complete redesign of the clients' existing website and ongoing site maintenance. The existing website was successful in that it placed highly on search engine rankings and got plenty of visitors, but the site was so chaotic and unattractive that potential customers often left after a minute or two. The new site has a clean, easy-to-navigate design with pleasing colors. The average site visitor now stays for 20-30 minutes and the client reports increased web sales. Search engine ranking has also improved to first page results.

Boland Consulting provided the programming expertise for a costing and quote generation application for this Dalton based printing company. This VB.NET application generates print job quotes based on costs and desired quantities. The application has a SQL Server 2000 database backend.
